The edie Net-Zero Awards celebrate both individuals and organisations that are leading the UK’s transition to a Net-Zero carbon economy. Spanning the entire sustainability landscape, from breakthrough innovations and technological solutions to industry-leading carbon reduction programs and ambitious energy management initiatives, the edie Net-Zero Awards are regarded as a prestigious accolade for sustainable businesses. The event saw several large, internationally recognised organisations such as John Lewis Partnership, Octopus Energy, BT Group, and DPD UK, all vying for one of these highly sought-after awards.

Spearheaded by our Group Head of Sustainability, Andrew Roberts, a third-generation member of the founding family, who is solely dedicated to strategically evolving our operations to pave the way for a sustainable future and support the Government’s pledge to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
Having placed significant focus on Roberts Group’s green agenda, Andrew is actively committed to embedding sustainability into the heart of our organisation, immersed throughout the company from top to bottom. It is very much Andrew’s aim, alongside the wider Roberts Group, to lead the way on sustainability, making conscious, data-driven decisions that maximise the positive impact on all elements of the business and the environments in which our liquid waterproofing solutions are installed.
Our Net-Zero strategy focuses on reducing carbon emissions throughout our operations, from sourcing sustainable materials to optimising energy efficiency. We have already implemented a number of initiatives, underpinned by ambitious Net-Zero and carbon reduction targets, including a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, reinforcing our status as a sustainable industry leader. From investing in sustainable product technology to analysing how we can decarbonise our entire supply chain, sustainability plays a pivotal role in our long-term manifesto.
